Lazy Sunday

After a late Saturday night, this is the scene I was greeted with mid-Sunday...


So sweet!!!

Holy Guac!

Slightly modified from Boudro's, in San Antonio... DELISH.

Juice of 1/4 of an orange
Juice of 1/2 a lime
1 avocado seeded and scooped out of skin (we used 2 rather than 1)
2 Tbs roasted and charred Roma tomatoes diced
1 ea Serrano pepper roasted seeded and diced
1 Tbs medium dice red onions
1 tsp chopped cilantro
coarse ground salt to taste (sea salt is better)

Mash and mix all together to desired consistency.

Yum. Super yum in tacos.

Friday = date night?

I guess that depends on your definition of date night...

Our new patio table and chairs came in today!



Aren't the cardboard boxes pretty? :-) So, upon arriving home from the evil gym (today was what we might call an asswhip), Court saw the boxes and immediately got out the tools.



I was chief bolt cover putter-oner assistant girl. Good stuff. Apparently I got a little too good at my job and got this look...


... for attempting to put one of the covers on while he was still tightening it. Needless to say, I was relegated to playing with the dog at that point.


Doesn't it look great?! Then we came inside and made yummy guacamole and tacos. Who doesn't love taco night?! Super fun night. Who wouldn't call it a date??? :-)

J (post giving C a hug): "Wow, honey, you're really hot... like seriously radiating heat just sitting here at your desk."

C: "Yeah, I'm thinking about this whole computer thing. Must be all the thoughts doing it."
