Memorial Day Murph

To celebrate Memorial Day this year, we decided to do things a little differently - and do them with a workout (not so different for us).  We heard about a few gyms doing a 'Memorial Day Murph' challenge and were interested.  Then we heard about Crossfit Dallas Central doing it to actually benefit charity and we were in!

Speaking of CFDC... Dean Xu, one of the owners

So what the heck is Murph?!  It's named after Lt. Michael Murphy, a Seal killed in Afghanistan.  Murph is:
1 mile run
100 pull ups
200 pushups
300 squats
1 mile run

It's preferable to do Murph in a 20lb weight vest or body armor (if you happen to have that handy).  Of course, HH sure did it in his weight vest!  Me? Not so much.

HH killed it - of course. I survived.  And it was all good!

Um, HH? Are you still alive?!

Later that day... before the soreness set in!
