Yellow Cars and Running Girls

Although not necessarily together...

We went out with Joey that other night (I'm sure a review of the place we went will be in one of Court's hijacks... hehehe) and saw not just this...

yeah, baby, that's right... a shiny new Camaro

but this as well... Odd, but true, a bright freakin' yellow hearse.

I know, my pictures of it suck, but it was all I could do to actually take pictures in a jeep while Joey was driving through that rain to the frozen yogurt place. And while doing my best not to totally flip out the driver of said yellow hearse. Because, I'm sure no one ever looks twice at his car. Dur.

And now to one of my favorite topics... The Running Girls. :-) I heart the Running Girls. It's true. And their hubs, too. It's so fantastic to have such a dynamic group of folks - we have a professor, a copywriter/minister/musician, a banker, an engineer, a radio person (she's in radio, not on it!), a promotional products guru/organic expert, a mommy, a mom-to-be!, a student (almost!), a guy who knows a ton about everything, four runners, four pit crew members (did I mention there are only 8 of us?!) - who get along so fantastically! Seriously. I'm so grateful to have such a phenomenal group of friends that have so much fun together.

So Saturday night was an Official Running Girls dinner at - where else?! - Chuy's. Yum. Super yum. Much laughter ensued, with a few attempts to bribe Landry to come out and play. I think her mommy is tired of being pregnant, and I know we're all ready to meet this little one! Like normal, we all wished for a pen to write down some of the craziness that comes out while we're together, but here's a small taste of some potential blog titles:

Crap women put on their faces... this could be Lisa's new blog - she's all about natural beauty products (and natural everything else too)

Questions to never ask a pregnant woman...
Q: Wow, are you pregnant???
A: Um, no, why would you ask? I've let myself go a bit...
(yes, someone did apparently ask Kelli this question and received this answer along with it... she was like 30 weeks or something at the time and very obviously pregnant!)

Things never to say to a pregnant woman... yup, more on the above topic!

Wow, guess you'll have to come along on the next one for the rest of the stories! :-)
